Former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea's search for a new club continues as he remains without a club for almost seven months now.
The Spanish shot-stopper won the Golden Glove in the Premier League for Manchester United in the 2022-23 season.

However, it is understood that De Gea then declined the offer with his wife not interested in moving to the Middle East. Rumours regarding him moving to Saudi Arabia later faded. But in some recent weeks, some rumours indicated that with him still without a club Al Nassr could again look out for him.
As per the latest reports, all these talks are misleading. Al Nassr for now have no plans to sign a goalkeeper in this winter transfer window and are content with two keepers Nawaf Al-Aqidi and David Ospina. So any chances of De Gea moving to middle-east will only be with any other side.
De Gea was earlier linked with a move to Newcastle United as well after Nick Pope suffered a shoulder injury sidelining him for four months. The talks however did not progress.
From being one of the top goalkeepers in the world to being without a club for so many months, it is really surprising to see the Manchester United legend staying away from the spotlight.
There have even been talks of him hanging out his boots if there's no retort to his woes.
However, the January window has often come as a savior to many struggling footballers and it now remains to be seen what beholds of him next.
