It will be a table-toppers affair as Al Nassr and Al Hilal take on each other in a monumental league match on Friday (December 1).

The two giants of Saudi Arabian football occupy the top two places, and Al Hilal are leading the pack with 38 points, four more than Al Nassr. The Friday clash thus has a premium importance as the results may dictate the title race for the remainder of the season.

Both Al Nassr and Al Hilal have equipped themselves with some top talents in their ranks. Al Hilal have the likes of Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Aleksandar Mitrovic, who have been a central part of their excellent run this season.

On the other hand, Al Nassr have also roped in Sadio Mane, Seko Fofana, Aymeric Laporte, Otavio, Marcelo Brozovic - who have equally elevated them this season.

But the two names which echo around the clubs and which brings out the most shirt sales are Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Neymar was roped in by Al Hilal this summer, whereas Cristiano Ronaldo was the first big name who joined the Saudi League this January after his unceremonious Manchester United. It is often said that Ronaldo's involvement was directly linked to the upsurge and influx of European players in the Saudi Pro League.

And ahead of this massive match, the question is whether we will be treated with Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo on the pitch.

Will Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar play in Al Hilal vs Al Nassr match?

Cristiano Ronaldo has been in excellent form for Al Nassr this season. The Portuguese is currently on top of the goal-scoring chart with 15 goals so far and is looking like an indomitable force at the moment. Along with his goals, Ronaldo has also made 7 assists and has been a menace for all the teams. He suffered a neck injury in their AFC Champions League match against Persepolis and went off the pitch.

But against Al Hilal, the legendary footballer may well be available and start the match. The extent of his injury is still unknown but it is to be seen whether he finds himself on the pitch in the crucial match.

For Neymar, Al Hilal fans don't have any good news. The Brazilian star ruptured his Anterior Cruciate Ligament while on duty with Brazil and is ruled out for the season. Neymar played in 3 league matches before his injury and has 2 assists to his name.

Hence we are not going to witness Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar duelling against each other. It is not welcoming news for Al Hilal, but Al Nassr fans will be hoping their star to shine in the toughest battle of the season.
