Portugal are hosting Iceland in their final Euro 2024 qualifying match tonight. The former Euro champions will be hoping to finish their qualifying campaign with a victory.

They have already qualified for the continental showdown next year and will be aiming to win the match to continue with their 100 per cent winning record in the campaign.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who is the joint-highest scorer of the qualifiers, is poised to play a part in the match tonight. Ronaldo has already netted 10 times for his country in the qualifiers and he was on target in the last match against Liechtenstein as well.

The 38-year-old football maestro, who currently plays his club football with Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, has been in terrific touch for both club and country.

Cristiano Ronaldo's impeccable form has been a driving force for Portugal in the qualifiers. The veteran player has led his team from the front and will be eyeing to do the same in their final match against Iceland.

Portugal's manager Roberto Martinez has spoken highly of him and it looks likely that Cristiano will start tonight in the match. Currently, Ronaldo is level on goals in the qualifiers with Belgium's Romelu Lukaku, and he would be eager to get to the summit by himself.
