Manchester United's latest signing, Manuel Ugarte, will have to wait a bit longer before making his debut for the club.
Despite the excitement surrounding his €51 million transfer from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), the Uruguayan midfielder will not be part of the squad for the highly anticipated derby against Liverpool.

Ugarte, who recently flew to the UK to complete his medical and finalize the move, was expected by many fans to be an immediate inclusion in the squad. However, due to the club missing the registration deadline, he will not be eligible to feature in Sunday's showdown at Old Trafford.
According to Premier League rules, paperwork for new signings must be completed by noon on the Friday before a match for the player to be eligible to play.
While the timing of his registration has disappointed some fans, it appears that United were not in a rush to fast-track Ugarte into the lineup.
Given that he had a limited pre-season following his participation in the Copa America and has yet to play a match for PSG this season, the club deemed it cautious to give him more time to regain match fitness.
Despite his absence from the derby, Ugarte is seen as a long-term solution in United’s midfield, with many viewing him as the eventual successor to Casemiro.
The Red Devils are now focused on preparing Ugarte for action after the international break. United's next fixture after the break is an away game against Southampton, where the Uruguayan midfielder could potentially make his much-anticipated debut.
Meanwhile, United will aim to bounce back from their disappointing 2-1 defeat to Brighton in their last outing. Without Ugarte, manager Erik ten Hag will have to rely on his existing midfield combinations to take on Liverpool in what promises to be a crucial match.
