Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the acquisition of Willian Pacho from Eintracht Frankfurt. The defender has committed to a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 champions, with the transfer fee reportedly around €45 million.
During his single season at Frankfurt, Pacho made 33 appearances in the Bundesliga, more than any other player in the squad. He also played the most minutes, totalling 2970. His defensive prowess was evident as he won possession 216 times in the 2023-24 Bundesliga season, ranking second among all centre-backs behind Nico Schlotterbeck (245).

Pacho expressed his excitement about joining PSG, stating on the club’s website, "I'm very happy to be joining Paris Saint-Germain. I hope to bring my personality and show all my determination to win many trophies."
Pacho is PSG's third signing of the current season. He joins Matvey Safonov and Joao Neves at Parc des Princes. This trio aims to bolster PSG's squad depth and performance for upcoming competitions.
In addition to his possession stats, Pacho had an impressive duel success rate of 58% last season. Among Frankfurt players, only Robin Koch had a higher rate at 61%. These statistics highlight Pacho's defensive capabilities and potential impact at PSG.
