Everton maintained their unbeaten streak in the Premier League, now stretching to eight matches, after a tense 1-1 draw against Wolves. The match saw Marshall Munetsi equalise Jack Harrison's deflected goal, leaving fans at Molineux on edge. Everton initially took the lead when Harrison's shot found its way into Jose Sa's bottom-left corner after a deflection off Matt Doherty.
Wolves quickly responded, levelling the score just seven minutes later. Bellegarde orchestrated a swift counterattack, threading a pass to Munetsi, who scored his first Premier League goal with a precise shot past Jordan Pickford. This marked Munetsi's debut goal since joining from Reims.

In the second half, both teams had chances to secure victory. Jorgen Strand Larsen tested Pickford, while Jose Sa made a crucial save against Beto moments later. Despite these efforts, neither side could find a winner. Wolves remain 17th in the league but are now six points clear of relegation. Meanwhile, David Moyes' team moved up to 14th place.
Munetsi filled in for the suspended Matheus Cunha and became only the third Zimbabwean to score in the Premier League. He joins Peter Ndlovu and Benjani in this achievement. Ndlovu scored 35 goals between 1992 and 1997, while Benjani netted 26 times from 2006 to 2011.
This match also marked an end to Jack Harrison's scoring drought. He hadn't scored in his last 36 Premier League appearances before this game. His previous goal was against Tottenham in February 2024.
The draw highlighted Everton's resilience and Wolves' struggle without Cunha, as they have not won any of their last nine league games without him, drawing two and losing seven.
