Xavi: Three Clubs the Ex-Barcelona Manager can join in the Summer

Xavi Hernandez has been shockingly sacked by FC Barcelona on Friday (May 24). After a trophyless 2023-24 season, the Spaniard has been discarded and won't continue as the head coach for the Blaugranas next season.

Barcelona released a statement on the sacking on Friday and as per reports, Hansi Flick is set to replace the Spaniard at the Catalunya club.

Xavi Three Clubs the Ex-Barcelona Manager can join in the Summer

As Xavi is now set to depart the Spanish club, the former midfielder will be turning his eyes for potential employment. The clubs across Europe are going through the transition as the season has now ended or about to end. Many clubs have moved on from their current coaches, and some of the big teams are likely to rope in a new manager at the helm.

An accomplished player and coach such as Xavi will have no shortage of takers and here are three probable destinations, handpicked for Xavi-

Brighton

Brighton will be a perfect destination for Xavi Hernandez, if he wants to rebuild his status as a top coach. The English club has recently parted ways with Roberto de Zerbi, and Xavi can impose his vision and style at the club. The recruitment process, and the scouting at the Premier League club are fantastic, and along with Xavi's inputs, the Seagulls can dream for the next step in their journey. Although it may not have the elite level of Europe, but Brighton can be Xavi's key to the next chapter.

Chelsea

Chelsea is a club that has been fluctuating with their coaches since their Russian revolution through the hands of Roman Abramovic. The scenario hasn't changed under the new owner Todd Boehly who sacked Mauricio Pochettino at the end of this season. Xavi will have to go at Chelsea with a perform-or-perish mindset, and if he succeeds at West London, it can be a massive revival for the Spaniard.

AC Milan

AC Milan will be in need of a coach as Stefano Pioli is set to leave the club at the end of this season. The Italian giants have won the Serie A title this season, and Xavi's arrival can be a big boost for them. Xavi himself would also have another high-profile club for his coaching CV if he joins Milan next season.
