Cristiano Ronaldo has blasted Manchester United coach Erik Ten Hag, even after 21 months since leaving the club.
Ronaldo left Old Trafford in January 2023 amid reports of a feud with manager Ten Hag. He then confirmed the news on a podcast and stated that he doesn't respect the Dutch tactician, before joining Saudi Arabia club Al Nassr as his next footballing destination.

Amid Manchester United's tumultuous start to the season, Ten Hag has been under fire. Despite splashing a decent bit of money in the transfer window, the Red Devils find themselves in trouble
"Manchester, they need to rebuild everything, in my opinion," Ronaldo said in the Rio Ferdinand podcast, which will be released on Thursday.
"The coach, they say they cannot compete to win the league and Champions League. Manchester United coach, you cannot say that you're not going to fight to win the league or Champions League.
"You have to be, to mentally say, listen, maybe we don't have that potential, but I cannot say that. We're going to try. You have to try."
"This club needs time to rebuild because it's still one of the best clubs in the world, but they need to change," Ronaldo said.
"They understand that. This is the only way. This is why they show, they start to change again, the structure of the club, the president, the infrastructure and everything. The owners of the club," he added.
Despite that, the former United player believes the future of the club is bright, but also addresses the importance of the club to work as a unit.
"I believe the future will be bright," Ronaldo remarked. "But it's not just about talent; it's about the entire club working as a unit," the stalwart added.
Ronaldo stressed that rebuilding from the bottom is essential for competitiveness. Without it, competing would be impossible. The 39-year-old has netted 4 goals in four matches across all competitions this season for Al Nassr, and will be hoping to continue his rich vein of form for the Saudi giants.
