Zidane set to block Real Madrid's move for Neymar

Real manager Zidane has ruled out the chance of them signing the Brazilian because he thinks it will disrupt the dressing room too much, claim Diario Gol.

Bengaluru, December 20: Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane will personally intervene to block Neymar's move as he fears that it will upset Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema, according to reports.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward is believed to be less than satisfied with life in the French capital after his summer switch on a world-record fee and Real Madrid have been strongly linked with a move for the former Barcelona superstar.

It has been claimed the former Barcelona man is keeping one eye on a return to Spain despite reportedly having a £198million release clause.

But Real manager Zidane has ruled out the chance of them signing the Brazilian because he thinks it will disrupt the dressing room too much, claim Diario Gol.

It is believed that Cristiano Ronaldo shares a brilliant relationship with Neymar and might not mind the Brazilian joining the club but it is his rivalry with Barcelona icon Lionel Messi that is the issue.

Messi and Ronaldo are not enemies but there is a sporting rivalry between the two and if Neymar joins Real Madrid, his relationship with Messi will surely end on a poor note.

It has been alleged that Neymar could ruin his own relationship with Messi if he went to Madrid.

Neymar reportedly upset the Argentine when he posed for a picture with Ronaldo during the FIFA Best Awards in October.

It is on the field that Zidane is most worried about a potential transfer of Neymar.

And with Gareth Bale being strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, any move for Neymar would only aggravate the situation.

Neymar, who joined PSG for a world-record £198million, has scored 11 goals in 13 Ligue 1 games.

Unai Emery's side sit top of the table and face Real Madrid in the next round of Champions League games in February.
