Lance Stroll Bio

Lance Stroll, born on 29 October 1998, is a Canadian Formula One driver for Aston Martin. Raised in Montreal, he is the son of billionaire Lawrence Stroll, owner of the Aston Martin F1 Team. Stroll began kart racing at age 10 and quickly rose through the ranks, joining the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2010.

Stroll's competitive car racing debut came in 2014 in the Italian F4 Championship with Prema Powerteam. He won the championship despite missing the final round due to injury. In 2015, he claimed victory in the Toyota Racing Series and competed in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, finishing fifth overall.

Formula One Debut

In 2017, Stroll made his Formula One debut with Williams, partnering Felipe Massa. He became the second-youngest driver to score a podium finish at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The following year, he remained with Williams but struggled with a slower car, finishing eighteenth in the Drivers' Championship.

Racing Point and Aston Martin

Stroll joined Racing Point in 2019 after his father led a consortium to acquire the team. He achieved his first pole position at the Turkish Grand Prix in 2020 and secured three podium finishes that season. In 2021, Racing Point rebranded as Aston Martin, with Stroll continuing alongside Sebastian Vettel.

Recent Seasons

In 2023, Stroll partnered with Fernando Alonso at Aston Martin. Despite injuries from a cycling accident before the season, he achieved a career-best tenth place in the World Drivers' Championship. As of mid-2025, Stroll remains contracted with Aston Martin until at least the end of 2026.

Challenges and Future Plans
