Frances Brown Biography

Encouraged by friends to try cycling after a 2006 accident, Brown re-learned how to ride a two-wheeled bicycle in 2015. This was aided by improved balance from learning how to sit ski. She competed in Para triathlon at an elite level before shifting her focus to Para cycling in 2022 due to health reasons.

Brown aims to compete at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. Her most memorable achievement is winning gold in the Para triathlon women's PTS2 event at the 2019 World Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland. In 2023, she was named Female Athlete of the Year by the British Elite Athletes Association.
