Francesco Bocciardo Biography

Bocci's parents introduced him to swimming at age four, following advice from his physiotherapist. Despite initial reluctance, he grew to love the sport. He made his debut for Italy in 2011 and has been a prominent figure in swimming since then.

In 2012, Bocci injured his left shoulder ahead of the Paralympic Games in London but still competed. His most memorable achievement came in 2016 when he won gold in the S6 400m freestyle at the Rio de Janeiro Paralympic Games.
