She has achieved notable success in her swimming career. In October 2021, she signed the 'Golden Book' of Potsdam, Germany, in recognition of her performance at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. Her foster parents have been a significant influence on her life. She also looks up to German footballer Julian Brandt as her hero. These influences have shaped her approach to both her personal life and athletic career.
