Both Abhishek and Varun Kumar managed two goals each. Lalit Kumar Upadhyay, Gurjant Singh, Vivek Sagar Prasad, Manpreet Singh, and Shamsher Singh also made their contributions to the score while Singapore's only goal came from Zaki Zulkarnain.

The game commenced with India on the offensive, with captain Harmanpreet Singh initiating long passes within the striking circle, putting Singapore's defence under pressure. While India's swift ball-playing posed a significant challenge to Singapore, they managed to fend off the Indian team. Despite this defence, India's Mandeep Singh, with a pass from Gurjant Singh, netted the goal to bring the score to 1-0 at the end of the first quarter.

In the second quarter, India's Lalit Kumar Upadhyay doubled the lead by making a goal off a pass from Sukhjeet Singh. The Indian team then ramped up their performance, netting three consecutive goals and taking the scoreboard to 5-0. Mandeep Singh managed one more goal just before half-time, taking the score to 6-0.

The onslaught continued in the third quarter, with relentless pressure from the Indian team keeping the ball in Singapore's half. Despite Singapore's aggressive attacks, they were successfully thwarted by Jarmanpreet Singh. Manpreet Singh added another goal, taking the scoreboard to 7-0, which was quickly extended to 8-0 by Shamsher Singh. Harmanpreet Singh swiftly converted three penalty corners, leading India to a staggering 11-0.

In the final quarter, Singapore's strategy shifted to defensive play to ward off any more potential Indian attacks. However, the Indian player Mandeep Singh managed to net the ball, followed by back-to-back goals by Abhishek. Singapore's only goal came from Zaki Zulkarnain in response to a counter-attack. Varun Kumar added two more goals to India's tally through penalty corners, bringing the match to a close with a 16-1 victory for India.
