Harmanpreet to lead Chandigarh in National Jr hockey

Chandigarh, Apr 11 (UNI) Harmanpreet Singh will lead Chandigarh in the third Junior National Hockey Championship for Under-18 held at Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) from April 14 to 22.

Announcing the team, Chandigarh Hockey Association secretary Y P Vohra said that Manipal Singh Godara and S Singh will accompamy the team as coach and manager, respectively.

The team will leave for Guntur on April 11 and play their first match on April 14.

The team: Harmanpreet Singh (captain), Gagandeep Singh (vice-captain), Gurjinder Singh, Mohit Thakur, Gurjant Singh, Lovedeep Singh, Manpreet Singh, Harman Mehta, Gagandeep Singh Jr, Dhanvinder Singh, Lovepreet Singh Jr, Jaipal Singh, Sukhbir Singh, Shamsher Singh, Amandeep Singh, Rajbir Singh, Daanvir Dugal, Davinder Singh and Amanpreet Singh.
