Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers clinched the championship after a thrilling 4-3 win over Hyderabad Toofans. The tournament not only delivered top-tier action but also celebrated outstanding individual performances with prestigious awards.

Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers emerged victorious in a high-intensity final against Hyderabad Toofans, securing a 4-3 win. Jugraj Singh played a pivotal role in the triumph, netting a stunning hat-trick (25’, 32’, 35’), while Sam Lane (54’) added the decisive goal.
For Hyderabad Toofans, Gonzalo Peillat (9’, 39’) and Amandeep Lakra (26’) were on target, keeping their team in contention until the final minutes. The match was a battle of nerves, with both teams trading blows throughout.
The Toofans took an early lead through Peillat’s drag flick, but Jugraj’s equalizer reignited the Tigers’ momentum. Hyderabad responded with a goal from Amandeep Lakra, only for Jugraj to strike twice more in quick succession, completing his hat-trick and shifting the game in Bengal’s favor.
Peillat’s second goal brought the score level at 3-3, setting up a tense final quarter. With just six minutes remaining, Sam Lane delivered the winning strike for the Tigers, sealing their championship glory.
Earlier in the evening, Soorma Hockey Club edged out Tamil Nadu Dragons 3-2 to claim third place. Goals from Gurjant Singh (12’), Harjeet Singh (19’), and Prabhjot Singh (57’) secured their podium finish.
The HIL 2024-25 season not only showcased intense competition but also highlighted emerging talent, reinforcing India’s rich hockey legacy.
