IHF names 32 probables for Champions Challenge Cup
New Delhi, May 17 (UNI) Keeping in mind the forthcoming Champions Challenge Cup in Boom, Belgium, the Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) today named 32 probables for the training camp to be held at SAI centre in Bangalore.
Apart from the players, the 20-day camp starting from May 23, would also be atteneded by nine officials, an IHF release stated.
After a decent show at the just-concluded Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament in Malaysia, where the Indian men secured the third position, their next venture at Belgium starts from June 23.
Players: Goal Keepers: Adrian D'Souza, Bharat Chetri, Baljit Singh, Gurpreet Singh.
Defenders: Dilip Tirkey, William Xalxo, Raghunath, Tussavurjit Singh, Sandeep Singh, Sunil Yadav.
Mid Fielders: Gurbaj Singh, Vickram Kanth, Bimal Lakra, Sardar Singh, Prabodh Tirkey, Pawal Lakra, Senthil Kumar, Jaswinder Singh, Ajitesh Roy, Viren Rasquinha.
Strikers: Rajpal Singh, Roshan Minz, Bharat Chikkara, Prabhjot Singh, Deepak Thakur, Tushar Khandker, Shivendra Singh, Bruno Lugun, Yudhvir Singh, Sunil Kumar, Damandeep Singh, Gagan Ajit Singh.
