Kolkata, Nov 29 (UNI) India edged out Pakistan 4-3 in the men's roller hockey on the second day of the 12th Asian Roller Hockey Championship here today.
In their second league of the day, India lost to Macau 12-4.
The Indian men lost to China 15-3 in another one sided match.
In another match of the day, Iran played a two each draw to Chinese Taipei in the men inline hockey event.
Earlier, India defeated Pakistan in a tough encounter. Navdeep Puri scored the first goal for the home team in the 5th minute of the game.
He struck again in the 12th minute. Usman Ashraf scored for the Pakistan to reduce the lead 1-2.
Ashraf scored the equalizer in the 16th minute. Navdeep scored the third goal for India. India won the match 4-3.
Results: Men Roller Hockey: Japan bt Pakistan 7-2; Macau bt India 12-4; Japan bt Chinese Taipei 3-2.
Men Inline Hockey: China bt India 15-3; Iran draw Chinese Taipei 2-2; Iran bt Macau 21-2.
Women Roller Hockey: Japan bt Macau 7-1.
