New Delhi, September 10: The women in blue thrashed Pakistan 19-0 in the 2026 Women's Junior Asia Cup quarterfinals to comfortably secure their spot in the semifinals of the tournament in China on Thursday.
The women in blue comfortably outran their opponents to secure their semifinals spot. Earlier, India had defeated Japan, Malaysia and South Korea to secure the top position in its group of the Asia Cup. They will now face the winner of South Korea and Malaysia for a spot in the summit clash.

India wasted little time asserting its dominance, with Pooja Sahu breaking the deadlock in the seventh minute. The defending champions continued to pile on the pressure, finding the net repeatedly as Pakistan struggled to cope with the relentless attacks. Sanika Mane added two goals, helping India race to a commanding 10-0 lead by the interval.
The onslaught continued after the restart, with India adding another nine goals to complete a comprehensive rout. Pooka Malik was the standout performer with a hat-trick, while Supriya and Purnima Yadav contributed two goals apiece. Pakistan remained unable to contain India's sustained attacking pressure throughout the contest.
India is looking to complete a hat-trick of Women's Junior Asia Cup titles, having won the title in 2023 and 2024.
