The final hooter blows and it is Malaysia who have made history by booking their first final berth in the Asian Champions Trophy. They have blown away the defending champions South Korea with an emphatic 6-2 scoreline and will now await for the winner of India and Japan in the Final tomorrow.

Goaaaaal!! Malaysia make it 5-2 early in the 4th quarter. Shello Silverius scores after an excellent turn and then a clinical strike. And it may well be the final nail in the Korean coffin.

The 3rd quarter ends and it is still Malaysia leading 4-2 in the match. Hafizuddin Othman has been the best player of this quarter as the Malaysian custodian has made some excellent saves.

Jihun Yang fails to score the goal for Korea from the penalty stroke as Hafizuddin Othman makes an outstanding save. The Malaysian keeper went down so fast and saved the shot with his shin to keep his country's two-goal lead intact.

It is half time and the Malaysia side have run away in the Q2 with two goals. They are halfway in their quest for their first-ever Hockey Asian Champions Trophy Final appearance.

Korea get a rare opportunity to take a shot by Junghoo Kim fails to capitalize on that. The attempt from the Korean player is neither a shot or a pass and goes for a Malaysian free out.

Firhan Ashari was found by a Malaysian player there and it is Kim Jaehyeon again who saves the Koreans with another stellar save.

Goaaaaaaal!! Faizal Saari scores from the penalty corner. The drag flick was of thehihgest class and the Korean keeper couldn't do much as Malaysia regain their lead.

Poor tackle from a Korean player on Firhan Ashari and the Malaysian player wins a penalty corner. Razie Rahim takes the drag flick but it hits another Korean player and Malaysia are awarded another PC.

MAS 2 KOR 2 (Q2)

Korea have made a settling start. The first couple of minutes of the Q2 has been much more calm compared to tht 1st quarter.

At the end of first quarter, it is a four-goal thriller in Chennai. Korea took the lead, then Malaysia scored two goals of their own, and then Korea have levelled in the final minute of the 1st quarter.

Goaaaaal!! Jang Jonghyun levels things up for Korea. The Korean captain's drag flick was excellent and found the right bottom corner as Korea level things up in the final minute of the first quarter.

MAS 2 KOR 1 (12 mins, Q1)

Three minutes to go in the first quarter, and Malaysia have completely turned this match around. They were trailing in the very first minute, but this is a superb resilience shown by Marhan Jalil and co.

Azahar Green Carded for Malaysia

Amirul Azahar gets a Green Card for Malaysia and the Malaysian coach is livid with the player. This is three consecutive matches Azahar has received Green Card and the coach gives the player a mouthful there.

Goaaaaal!! Najmi Jazlan scores the goal for Malaysia and now they have taken the lead. Faizal Saari's flick from a penalty corner was saved by the Korean keeper, but the follow-up from Jazlan finds the net. Korea made a review for high-ball, but the decision stands in favour of Malaysia and the goal stands.

Kim Jaehyeon makes another terrific double save to deny Malaysia. Faizal Saari looked certain to score but not because of Kim's heroics.

MAS 1 KOR 1 (Q1)

Another fantastic driving run from a Korean player but the attack fizzles out for the defending champions. The intensity of this match from the off is fantastic. Korea now win their 1st penalty corner, Malaysia take the review and the decision is overruled by the video umpire.
