Malaysia will take on Korea in their fifth and final round-robin match of the Hockey Asian Champions Trophy 2023. India thrashed Malaysia 5-0 on Sunday, while Korea lost 2-3 to the hosts on Monday.
Malaysia and Korea are placed second and third in the six-team points table respectively. Malaysia are certain of a place in the semi-finals. However, Korea are yet to book a spot. Japan's 2-1 win over China earlier today has made the fight for the final two semi-final berths interesting.

Defending champions lose to Malaysia who have now climbed to top of the six-team table. They successfully maintain their 1-0 lead through the second, third and fourth quarter. Another team in yellow shines in Chennai.
Malaysia look set to defend their one goal lead, even though Korea are trying everything. But the Malaysian defense has learnt its lesson after the India drubbing.
