Pakistan vs Korea Hockey Highlights: Pakistan have beaten Korea Republic 5-2 in the 3rd-place playoff match on Tuesday (September 17) at the Moqi Training Base in Hulunbuir.

The Final whistle blows and Pakistan have managed a podium finish in the Hockey ACT 2024. A 5-2 win over Korea is enough for them to get the 3rd spot in the tournament. A scintillating display from Tahir Zaman's boys in the second half was enough to topple the Koreans.

Pakistan were left stunned by hosts China as Shahid Hannan and team faltered in the semifinal. After a 1-1 scoreline, it was Chinese keeper Caiyu Wang who starred in the penalties to take China through to the Final. Despite a decent tournament, Tahir Zaman's boys will be extremely disappointed that they won't feature in the final clash against India.
Korea Republic had a modest outing against India in the other semifinal and were beaten 1-4 at the hands of a rampant Indian team. Although the Korean team would be disappointed, they have a big opportunity to find a place in the podium.
In the group stage match earlier, Pakistan and Korea had nothing to separate between them as the match ended 2-2. Three goals were scored in the final minute of the match.
Pakistan have a Penalty Corner Efficiency of just 14.29 per cent, whereas Korea have the highest PC efficiency with 34.48.
