The Hockey India League (HIL) is making a comeback after a seven-year break, with an exciting new edition set to take place later this year. This season will showcase the competitive spirit of eight men’s teams and six women’s teams. The matches are scheduled to be held at two dynamic venues—Rourkela and Ranchi. The much-awaited action is scheduled to commence on December 28, accompanied by a spectacular opening ceremony in Rourkela on the same day.

Over two intense days, on Sunday and Monday (13th and 14th October), all eight franchisees fiercely vied for their preferred stars, aiming to secure them for their teams from a pool of talented national and overseas players.
