New Delhi, Nov 24: Top eight teams, including defending champion Indian Oil and runners up Bharat Petroleum, will be seen in action in the 18th Lal Bahadur Shastri hockey tournament to be held here from November 27 to December 3.

Talking to mediapersons here last evening, tournament committee chairman Kamal Chaudhary said the other teams taking part are, South Central Railway (SCR), Indian Airlines, Army, Namdhari, PNB XI, Air India.

The teams have been divided into two pools.

Pool 'A': Indian Airlines, Bharat Petroleum, Army XI and PNB.

Pool 'B': Indian Oil, Air India, S.C.R and Namdhari XI.

There will be four matches every day on November 27, 28 and 30 with November 29th being the rest day. Semifinals will be played on December 1 and 2 and the final on December 3.
