China vs Malaysia - Semifinal: 3-1

China secured a spot in the final of the Women's Asian Champions Trophy 2024, defeating Malaysia 3-1 at the Rajgir Hockey Stadium. After missing a couple of early penalty corner opportunities, DENG Qiuchan opened the scoring for China in the 5th minute.

China extended their lead with goals from FAN Yunxia and TAN Jinzhuang in the second quarter. Malaysia responded in the third quarter with a goal from MOHD Khairunnisa but struggled to convert their chances, finishing with only one goal from nine penalty corners. China will now await the winner of the other semi-final between India and Japan.

Korea vs Thailand - 5th/6th Place Match: 3-0

Korea defeated Thailand 3-0 in the 5th/6th place playoff, showcasing dominance with goals from Seung Ah Lee, Hye Jin Cho, and Sun Hwa Kim. Despite Thailand's efforts, Korea's relentless attacks and solid defense secured fifth place in the tournament standings, highlighting their control throughout the match.
