Despite these setbacks, she continued to excel. She sustained a waist injury during training for the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. More recently, a knee injury disrupted her training ahead of the 2023 World Championships in Paris, France. However, she went on to win two gold medals at that tournament.
She graduated with a degree in Physical Education from Nanjing Normal University in China. Currently, she is self-coached and represents Jiangsu Province. Her first coach, Wang Shunlin, has been a significant influence on her career.
