Before his accident in 2008, he competed in non-Para triathlon events. One of his notable achievements was winning a non-Para triathlon event in Obernai, France, in 2005. However, his career faced a setback due to the accident, which kept him away from the sport for several years.

Return to Triathlon

In 2016, he returned to Para triathlon after creating his own prosthetic. His comeback was marked by determination and resilience. He underwent two surgical procedures in December 2021 to remove a cyst in his left leg but continued to pursue his passion for triathlon.
