Palani Tuskers and Chola Veerans, two of eight teams, extended their remarkable run to qualify for the Summit round of the CARS24 Yuva Kabaddi Series Monsoon Edition 2023, which opens off at Madurai's Fatima College Indoor Stadium.
The unique kabaddi competition, which provides a highly competitive platform for India's aspiring kabaddi stars, provided exhilarating action for fans in an intriguing format, with 116 nail-biting matches contested in the first five rounds.

While Palani Tuskers, Chola Veerans, and Nilgiri Knights advanced to the Summit round following strong performances in the promotion round, Aravalli Arrows, Murthal Magnets, Panchala Pride, Vijayanagara Veers, and Hampi Heroes kept their cool in the Survival round to advance to the playoffs. The final will be played on October 22.
The ongoing CARS24 Yuva Kabaddi Series Monsoon Edition 2023 has seen some outstanding performances from young Indian players, highlighting glimpses of India's bright future in the sport.
Suresh Veeraswami Oruganti of Vijayanagara Veers, 23 years old, has impressed the most in the attacking department with the highest 192 raid points, while Murthal Magnets' Sonu Mahender Rathee currently leads as the top-defender with 66 points, followed by Lokesh Jaisaram Ghosliya of Aravalli Arrows (54 pts) and Gowtham Murgan of Chola Veerans (54 pt (53 pts).
The Yuva Kabaddi Series not only provides a much-needed platform, but it also fosters India's youthful kabaddi talent by providing exposure and opportunity for future stars to compete with and learn from the greatest. The competition also attempts to popularise kabaddi among the general public and grow the sport's fan base.
