By MyKhel Staff

The Gujarat Giants have shown significant improvement in the second leg of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11, rebounding from a poor first leg in Hyderabad, where they secured just one victory. In a dramatic clash against Dabang Delhi K.C., the Giants staged a late comeback to salvage a tie.

Thus, boosting their morale and building confidence for the upcoming fixtures. Speaking after the match, coach Ram Mehar Singh praised his team's resilience. "When the team is under pressure, it's my responsibility as a coach to motivate the players," he said.

Singh added that strategic adjustments and belief in the team's ability were key to their comeback. Parteek Dahiya, a standout performer, turned the tide for the Giants after coming on as a substitute in the first half. Scoring an impressive 20 points, Dahiya's efforts were instrumental in keeping the Giants competitive.

"We were cautious with Parteek, but when he entered the game, his performance significantly lifted the team," the coach remarked. Despite the positive outcome, Singh acknowledged missed opportunities to secure a win. "We lost control in critical moments, especially towards the end. Otherwise, we had the game in hand," he reflected.

Looking ahead to their next match against the in-form Telugu Titans, Singh emphasized the importance of strategic preparation. "Every team in the PKL is strong, and we need to approach each match with a solid plan. The Titans have been performing well, so we will analyze and strategize in the coming days," he said.

On Pawan Sehrawat, Singh called him one of PKL's finest players, noting, "Though he is injured now, we wish him a quick recovery and will prepare to face the entire team rather than focusing on one player."

Meanwhile, other key matches on November 22 include Tamil Thalaivas taking on UP Yoddhas and Jaipur Pink Panthers facing Dabang Delhi K.C., promising exciting battles as teams vie for dominance in PKL 11.
