Gujarat Giants have boosted their defence with the most expensive foreign buy in the auction by roping in Iranian start Fazel Atrachali ahead of the landmark season of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL).

Before the PKL season 10 could get started, the Titans bought Sultan Atrachali for a whopping Rs 1.60 Crore during the two-day auction in October as they look to better their finish from the previous season.

Apart from Atrachali, the Giants, who had retained their star raider Rakesh Sangroya, also brought in another Iranian all-rounder Mohammad Nabibaksh to assist in both departments.

The Gujarat Giants, who made their Pro Kabaddi debut in season 5, will open their PKL Season 10 opener at home against Telugu Titans in Ahmedabad, where they will also face Bengaluru Bulls, U Mumba and Patna Pirates in the space of five days.

Once the Ahmedabad leg is finished, the action switches to Bengaluru, where the Giants will play a solitary match against Jaipur Pink Panthers before they travel to Pune for one match against Haryana Steelers.

In the Chennai leg, the Giants will face UP Yoddhas and the home side Tamil Thalaivas, before they take on Bengal Warriors and Dabang Delhi in Noida. The season 10 action then shifts to Mumbai, where the Giants face Telugu Titans in their first reverse fixture of the season.

Then the Titans will play the reverse fixtures against the other teams, starting with two games in Jaipur before a solitary match in Hyderabad, and then two matches each in Patna, Kolkata, Delhi and Panchkula. Here is a look at their players list and schedule:
