The organizers of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), Mashal Sports, have confirmed the rescheduling of the PKL Season 10 Player Auction due to an appeal made by the Administrator of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India.
A representative from Mashal stated, "Upon receiving the formal appeal from the AKFI Administrator to reschedule the PKL Season 10 Player Auction, we took into account the ongoing training of the Indian Men's and Women's Teams for the Asian Games' upcoming Kabaddi medal events. Both Mashal and the AKFI concur on the crucial significance of this event for Kabaddi in India".

Originally slated for 8-9 September 2023, the event's date will now be determined in the future. The Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India is the officially accepted Kabaddi institution in the country.
In regard to delaying the PKL Season 10 Player Auction, Mashal imparted to the AKFI Administrator the extensive strategy and groundwork established by the PKL Teams, the PKL broadcasting associate, and Mashal for the initial date of 8-9 September.
A Mashal spokesperson said, "The Administrator expressed appreciation for the considerable restructuring that will be necessitated by all the PKL affiliates, including the twelve participating teams and the broadcaster, due to the delay of the player auction."
In coordination with the PKL Teams and Star Sports, Mashal Sports will soon unveil the revised dates for the PKL Season 10 Player Auction.
