For now, the auction has been a superb one for Bengal Warriors, whereas Bengaluru Bulls will also be happy with their two late buys. Haryana Steelers and Tamil Thalaivas will also be ecstatic with their signing as the two teams breached Rs 2 crore mark today.
That is all from the Day 1 of the Auction of PKL 2024. Eight players have breached the Rs 1 crore mark today.

Manjeet is sold to U Mumba for Rs 80 lakh.
U Mumba are in with the latest bid at Rs 62.5 lakh, and then they raise it to Rs 80 lakh.
U Mumba snoop in again. Currently the Bulls still have the latest bid at Rs 57 lakh.
The Bulls are with the current bid at Rs 46 lakh.

Jaipur Pink Panthers make the first bid for Manjeet but Bengaluru Bulls are there to give them company. Currently Pink Panthers have the latest bid at Rs 22 lakh.

Both U Mumba and Bengaluru Bulls have hiked their bid amounts and currently it is with Bengaluru Bulls for Rs 50 lakh.
U Mumba and Bengaluru Bulls start a bidding war. Currently U Mumba have the bid at Rs 30.25 lakh.
Bengaluru Bulls rival Delhi with a Rs 20.25 lakh bid.

Ajinkya Pawar - Bengaluru Bulls (Rs 1.1075 crore)
Bengaluru Bulls get Ajinkya Pawar for Rs 110.75 lakh.

None of the two teams are set to leave the battle and currently Bengaluru Bulls hold the bid with Rs 1.0625 crore bid.

The upcoming season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) is set to kick off later this year. Before the action begins, the excitement starts with the Season 11 PKL Player Auction.
During the landmark Season 10 auction, Pawan Sehrawat was picked by Telugu Titans for an impressive Rs 2.61 crore, making him the most expensive player in PKL history. Mohammadreza Chiyaneh followed as the second-highest pick by Puneri Paltan for Rs 2.35 crore. It is to be seen how much money the players can fetch in this auction.
Each franchise has a total Salary Purse of Rs 5 Crore for their squad. However, this amount will vary based on player retentions, with a total of 88 players retained across teams.
The retention rules allowed teams to keep up to six players under the Elite Retained Players category. Additionally, franchises could retain players under Retained Young Players and New Existing Young Players categories. Each team also has three Final Bid Match (FBM) cards to buy back released players by matching the final bid.
The Season 11 Player Auction will categorise Domestic, Overseas, and New Young Players into four groups: A, B, C, and D. These categories are further divided into 'All-Rounders', 'Defenders', and 'Raiders'.
