PKL 2024 Auction: The Dubki King Pardeep Narwal finds a new Pro Kabaddi League franchise ahead of the 11th edition as Bengaluru Bulls successfully acquired the services for the record breaker for INR 70 Lakh at the auction on Thursday (August 15).
Interestingly, this can easily be termed as a steal deal for the Bulls, especially knowing the fact that the Haryana-born raider Pardeep Narwal is the first and only player to score 1500 raid points in PKL history. PKL 2024 List Of Players Bought At Auction

Notably, in the PKL 2021 Auction, he emerged as the then-most expensive player at INR 1.65 Crore when UP Yoddhas secured his services. At the PKL 2022 Auction, he was roped in by the Yoddhas at INR 90 Lakhs via the FBM option. He was retained ahead of the PKL 2023 Auction.
Narwal came into the PKL 2024 Auction in Category B with a base price of INR 20 Lakh. Dabang Delhi was quick to open the bidding price. Bengaluru Bulls and U Mumba joined the bidding war in no time.
With the Bulls and Mumba joining in, Delhi backed out. With the Bulls pushing the price to INR 70 Lakh, U Mumba backed out. It is a homecoming for Narwal, who initiated his PKL career with the Bulls.
Pardeep Narwal made his PKL debut with the Bengaluru Bulls in the second season of the PKL, finishing with a total of nine raid points. Later, he was acquired by the Patna Pirates, which changed the franchise's fortunes.
He accumulated 121 points in the third PKL season while he settled for 133 points in the fourth season, emerging as Patna's best raider in both seasons. However, his best season came in PKL 2017 when he amassed 369 raid points in 26 matches, showcasing his true raiding skills.
Regarded as the best raider in kabaddi history, he led the Patna Pirates to a hat-trick of title wins in three consecutive seasons. In PKL 10, Narwal created a unique record with 1600+ raid points, becoming the first and only raider to achieve this feat.
It's worth noting that Narwal won the Most Valuable Player Awards in the PKL 2016 and 2017 seasons.
