The second day of the Pro Kabaddi League 2024 auction stunned a lot of fans with some unexpected twists as a few top-tier players got unsold. Though fans witnessed a few bidding wars, there were also interesting snubs that caught the limelight.
Franchises went out all guns blazing on Day 1 of the auction with eight players crossing the crore mark. However, things completely changed on the second day as multiple top players found no bids from the franchises.

That said, let's take a look at the top five unsold players from the second day of the PKL 2024 Auction. The list consists of players who were impressive and consistent in the past but for various reasons, they found themselves without a team for this season.
Rohit Kumar, the star raider, couldn't get any bids from the franchises for the second consecutive PKL Auction. He accumulated 730 points from 101 matches at 6.76 raid points per match, which makes him a promising raider to have in any team.
He made his PKL debut in the 2016 season with the Patna Pirates, accumulating 109 points. For the next four seasons, he was part of the Bengaluru Bulls set-up, amassing 602 points to emerge as one of the top raiders.
Though he was roped in by the Telugu Titans and Gujarat Giants for the PKL 2021 and 2022 seasons, he couldn't create an impact and got faded away from the PKL 2023 Auction.
The ankle hold specialist Surender Nada found himself without a team for the second consecutive auction. The Asian Games 2016 gold medallist defender Surender Nada amassed a total of 302 points from 102 matches at 2.73 average successful tackles per match.
Though he was consistently ranked among the top 10 defenders in PKL, he had an uneven season in 2022 with the Bengal Warriors, finishing with only 11 points from 10 matches.
Sandeep Narwal, the all-rounder, found himself without a franchise for the second successive PKL season. Sandeep was part of India's Asian Games 2016 gold medal-winning team.
In 156 PKL matches, Sandeep accumulated 645 points with 1.83 raid points per match and 2.31 average successful tackles per game. He has 30 Super Tackles and 18 High 5s to his name. He played for six different franchises in his PKL career.
In an interesting turn of events, Deepak Niwas Hooda, the raiding all-rounder, found no bidders for the second consecutive PKL season. The Asian Games gold medallist raider Deepak Hooda represented four different franchises in his PKL career.
He earned 1119 points from 157 PKL matches so far with 6.5 raid points per match and furthermore, he also has 265 tackle points in his prestigious career. His best season came with the Jaipur Pink Panthers in 2018 when he accumulated 208 points from 22 games.
Interestingly, Rahul Chaudhari, the PKL poster boy, couldn't get enough chances to prove his worth in the previous PKL season despite being completely fit. In four matches, he managed to accumulate only six points for the Panthers.
Surprisingly, Rahul failed to grab any bids from franchises in the PKL 2024 Auction. He played a pivotal role for Jaipur Pink Panthers in PKL 2022 and propelled the franchise to a title win, accumulating 73 points from 21 matches.
It's worth noting that Rahul Chaudhari is one of the few raiders to accumulate more than 1000 points in PKL history. The legendary PKL showman not finding any bids completely stunned the Kabaddi fanbase.
