The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 11 concluded its first phase in Hyderabad on Saturday (November 9).
Due to logistical unfeasibility, the PKL 2024 is happening across three cities. The first phase took place in Hyderabad's Gachibowli Stadium, while the next phase is set to start from Sunday in Noida. The final phase and the playoffs will take place in Pune.

As the season has already crossed its first phase, let us have a look at how and where the teams currently stand along with the players as well.
Each team will play 22 group stage matches, and as one-third of the tournament is done, let's have a look at where the teams stand.
At the moment, defending champions Puneri Paltan going strong this season. With 30 points in eight matches, they currently sit on top of the table. They have managed 5 wins and 1 tie in the first phase, whereas their two losses also saw them getting one point each. Gourav Khatri has been the star of their show with 33 tackle points so far in the season.
U Mumba are also riding high at the conclusion of the Hyderabad leg. They are placed 3rd in the table with 24 points, having played seven matches so far in the group stages. Dabang Delhi KC sit 4th in the table with 24 points but they have already played 9 matches.
Bengal Warriorz have bounced back superbly from their last season's disappointment. Fazel Atrachali has led his troops brilliantly as they sit 5th in the table with 23 points in seven matches.
Bengaluru Bulls have found themselves in murky waters. It has been a serial underperformance from them as the Bulls languish at the 11th position with just 12 points after 8 matches. Despite the presence of Arjun Pawar, Pardeep Narwal - they have failed to play as a unit.
Gujarat Giants are currently at the bottom of the points table. With seven points in six matches, they are placed 12th at the moment. Although the Giants have played a couple of less number of matches, their performance on the mat has been below par, to say the least.
Telugu Titans
Pawan Sehrawat and troops are sitting 2nd in the PKL table after their home leg. With five wins in eight matches, they currently have 26 points. The Titans, who failed to qualify for playoffs in recent seasons, are on a high at the moment. They finished bottom of the pile in the last three seasons and have already accumulated more points than they did in the entirety of Season 10 (21 pts) and Season 11 (15 pts).

At the moment, Dabang Delhi raider Ashu Malik sitting on the top of the raiders chart with 97 points in nine matches. Ashu has so far managed 8 Super 10s in the season, with Pawan (6) and Devank (5) behind him.
1. Ashu Malik (Dabang Delhi) - 97
2. Pawan Sehrawat (Telugu Titans) - 88
3. Devank (Patna Pirates) - 87
4. Arjun Deshwal (Jaipur Pink Panthers) - 73
5. Narender Kandola (Tamil Thalaivas) - 63
Puneri Paltan defender Gaurav Khatri currently sitting on top of the defenders' chart with 33 points after the first phase. Khatri also has the most number of High 5s with four to his name.
1. Gaurav Khatri (Puneri Paltan) - 33
2. Nitin Rawal (Bengaluru Bulls) - 26
3. Sumit Sangwan (UP Yoddhas) - 26
4. Fazel Atrachali (Bengal Warriorz) - 25
5. Sahil Gulia (Tamil Thalaivas) - 25
The smiles have arrived at the Telugu Titans camp this season. The partnership of Pawan Sehrawat and Krishan Kumar Hooda has brought positive results for them. The prime raider possesses and huge respect for his coach and together they have revived the Titans. The team looks a much more tightly knitted unit and have played together so far, which has reflected on the points table.
Maninder Singh and Fazel Atrachali have mingled perfectly at the Bengal Warriorz. The Iranian replaced the Punjab boy as Bengal's captain this season but the pair have maintained an excellent rapport which shows on the mat. Maninder has received support from Fazel every time before raiding, while the Indian star has also honed his role perfectly. Also, Fazel has led the young troops with magnificent poise at his new franchise.
After having an excellent season in the PKL 2023, Parteek Dahiya has failed to continue his form for Gujarat Giants. He has managed only 16 raid points in six matches for them, with a raid strike rate of just 35 per cent. The lanky player had a raid points average of 6.5 per match last season, which has gone down to 2.67 so far. The Giants are currently languishing at the bottom and Parteek's lack of form is a component of their disastrous start to the PKL 2024.
Bengaluru Bulls have endured a torrid period in the City of Nawabs. Their struggle in the PKL 2024 season so far is down to their defensive woes, which has conceded the most number of points so far. They have already suffered 13 all-outs, the second most so far in this season.
The raiding department has also struggled for the Bulls. Ajinkya Pawar is their best raider with 40 points in eight matches, whereas Pardeep Narwal has also struggled with just 37 points after seven matches.
