Bengal Warriorz captain Fazel Atrachali expressed deep admiration for his teammate Maninder Singh after their narrow 40-38 victory over Haryana Steelers in PKL 2024.
Maninder's impressive performance, scoring 12 points, was pivotal in the win as Bengal Warriorz came back to winning ways after two consecutive ties.

Fazel praised Maninder's dedication, stating, "What sets Maninder apart is his commitment. In my decade-long experience, I've seen many experienced players try to skip practice, but not him. He puts in more effort than anyone else, and is always giving his 100% in the gym, in training, and in matches."
Fazel highlighted the rarity of players maintaining such consistency over time. He noted that many young players often fade away after a short stint. However, Maninder's sustained excellence is attributed to his rigorous fitness routine and relentless hard work.
Reflecting on their recent performances, Fazel expressed satisfaction with the team's improving synergy. He acknowledged the contributions of key players like Sushil Kambrekar and Nitin alongside Maninder.
"Our combination is improving with each match. We have several strong players like Maninder, Sushil (Kambrekar) and Nitin, and everyone contributes in different games - that's what makes us effective as a unit," the Iranian added.
Looking forward to their next match against Dabang Delhi, Fazel remained cautiously optimistic. He acknowledged that while the recent victory has boosted their confidence, each game presents unique challenges. The team plans to continue working hard in practice to achieve positive results if they play to their potential.
