PKL auction 2023 is set to take place on Monday (October 9) and Tuesday (October 10) with over 500 players, including star players Pawan Sehrawat, Vikash Kandola and Fazel Atrachali, will go under the hammer in Mumbai.
The 12 Pro Kabaddi teams have already retained some of their top names and rising stars from the previous edition, but will be keen to add some star names during the auction as they look to build a challenging squad for season 10, which is set to start in December.

Pawan Sehrawat and Vikash Kandola had broken the record as the two most expensive buy in a PKL auction last year. There is every chance that the record could be broken again this year.
So, with the PKL 2023 auction fast approaching, here is a look at the important rules, the player categories, the base price, remain purse, timing & live streaming info for the Pro Kabaddi Season 10 auction:
The Pro Kabaddi Season 10 auction will be held across two days - Monday (October 9) and Tuesday (October 10) in a venue in Mumbai with the bidding for the top names set to take place on day one from 8:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST.
The day 2 of the auction start time is not yet disclosed, but is likley to start after 10 AM IST on Tuesday (October 10), when the categories C and D players along with some players from A and B also will go under the hammer.
The Domestic and Overseas players will be divided into four categories in the PKL Season 10 Player Auction. The Categories are A, B, C and D and the players will be further sub-divided as 'All-Rounders', 'Defenders' and 'Raiders' within each category.
The base prices for each of the categories are Category A - INR 30 Lakh, Category B - INR 20 Lakh, Category C - INR 13 Lakh, Category D - INR 9 Lakh.
The Season 10 Player Pool will consist of 500+ including the 24 players from the two finalist teams of the Khelo India University Games 2023. The list also includes the likes of Pawan Sehrawat, Fazel Atrachali and Vikash Kandola among others.
The Salary Purse available to each franchisehas increased from INR 4.4 crore to INR 5 crore. However, the teams have already spent a certain part of their purse on the current members in their squads. So, please find below the player purse balance for every team.
