PKL Final 2024 : Full List Of Award Winners, Prize Money - All You Need To Know
Haryana Steelers claimed their first-ever Pro Kabaddi League title in Season 11, defeating the Patna Pirates with an impressive 32-23 victory at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi on Sunday.
The highly-anticipated matchup, featuring the league's top defensive side (Steelers) against its most aggressive attacking unit (Pirates), delivered on expectations. Ultimately, the Steelers' well-rounded performance proved to be the game-changer.

Shivam Patare led the scoring for Haryana with crucial nine points, while their defense, anchored by the versatile Iranian star Mohammadreza Chiyaneh Shadloui, who contributed seven points, effectively neutralized the Pirates' raiders.
For the three-time PKL champions, it was a disappointing evening. Despite having this season's leading raider, Devank Dalal, the Pirates' attack faltered, and their defense conceded vital points throughout the contest, with only Gurdeep managing six successful tackles. This win also marked a pivotal moment for Haryana's coach, Manpreet Singh. After enduring three heartbreaking PKL final losses with the Gujarat Giants (formerly Gujarat Fortune Giants) and Steelers, the former India captain finally celebrated triumph. Fittingly, his victory came against a team he once led to the PKL title back in Season 3.
The Haryana Steelers' victory reinforced the growing pattern in the PKL, where the team finishing at the top of the league table claims the championship title.
