PKL Final: The Haryana Steelers, who topped the league standings in PKL Season 11, delivered a brilliant performance on Sunday night, clinching their first-ever PKL title after overcoming the Patna Pirates at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune.
With Mohammadreza Shadloui in exceptional form, the Steelers secured a 32-23 victory in the final. Shivam Patare contributed 9 points, Shadloui added 7, and Vinay chipped in with 6.

The match began with a high tempo, as the Haryana Steelers took the early lead, controlling the game. Despite efforts from Patna's Devank and Ankit, it was the Steelers, with Patare and Shadloui leading the charge, who set the pace and dictated the play.
Haryana's defence, marshaled by Jaideep and Rahul Sethpal, demonstrated why they are among the league's best, frustrating the Patna Pirates' attempts to score. But as the first half wore on, Gurdeep and Sudhakar narrowed the gap, pulling the Pirates closer to the Steelers.
Devank and Ayan leveled the score at one point, but Patare and Vinay's timely contributions put the Haryana Steelers back in control, and they went into the break with a 15-12 lead.
The second half started more cautiously, with Sudhakar putting Patna on the board first. While Haryana had managed to quiet the efforts of Devank and Ayan, Patna fought back aggressively. However, Shadloui's key points and Jaideep's contributions kept the Steelers firmly in the game.
With just under 10 minutes remaining, Haryana held a narrow three-point advantage. They then upped the pressure, forcing the first ALL OUT of the match. Shadloui's brilliance, combined with strong defensive efforts, stretched the Steelers' lead to 9 points. As the clock wound down, Haryana expertly managed both the game and the time, closing out any potential Patna comeback.
The final whistle blew, and the Haryana Steelers emerged victorious, claiming their maiden Pro Kabaddi League title.
