Aravalli Arrows defeated Murthal Magnets from Haryana 48-30 to win the Yuva Kabaddi Series Monsoon Edition 2023 on Sunday in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, thanks in large part to an excellent effort by Rohit Yadav.
The youthful left raider from the Aravalli team, who was just purchased in the Pro Kabaddi auction as well, managed an impressive strike rate of 64% while attempting 17 raids on the opposition's court and scoring 11 raid points.

Raider Sahil Sharma contributed 8 raid points as well, scoring 4 of them in a single raid when Murthal Magnets nearly eliminated the whole Aravalli team, leaving only Sahil as the final man standing on the mat.
The Haryana-born defender Sonu Rathee of the Murthal Magnets, who was also named the competition's Best Defender, fell short of 100 tackle points, finishing with 97 at an amazing 60% success rate.
Arjun Rathee of Chola Veerans received 50,000 after being crowned the competition's Best Raider, in contrast.
The exciting match was observed by Smt. V Indirani Ponvasanth, the Honorable Mayor of the City of Madurai, as well as Vikas Gautam and Suhail Chandhok, co-founders of the CARS24 Yuva Kabaddi Series and the CEO of U Mumba's Pro Kabaddi squad.
"For us, the competition went quite well. Everyone assumed that because of our team's poor performance early in the tournament, we would be out before the play-offs. Nonetheless, everyone on the team including the bench played well. In response to their first victory, Aravalli Arrows captain Kapil Gurjar said, "This tournament will be a memorable one for us.
In addition to receiving an upgrade for their 2022 Monsoon Edition runner-up trophy, Aravalli Arrows also took home the winner's prize of 20 lakhs. The inaugural Yuva Kabaddi Series champions, Murthal Magnets, played cautiously and rarely went in for major points. They awaited the ideal moment, but ultimately had to be content with the runner-up trophy and the prize money of Rs. 10 lakhs.
16 teams from all around the country competed for the coveted trophy and a total prize pool of 58.5 lakhs as the competition got underway on September 24.
