Kinga Drozdz Biography

Her journey into wheelchair fencing began with a message from a friend on Facebook. The friend's father, Grzegorz Pluta, a gold medalist at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, invited her to train together. Despite initial stress and physical discomfort, she persevered and found her footing in the sport.

Competitive Achievements

She made her debut for Poland at the World Cup in Warsaw in 2018. Since then, she has achieved notable success. She won gold in the individual sabre A event at the 2023 World Championships in Terni, Italy. Additionally, she claimed gold in individual sabre A and team epee at the 2022 European Championships.

Tokyo Paralympics Experience

Despite being in excellent physical condition during the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo, she missed out on a medal.
