She began running at age five and took up Para athletics during her sophomore year at Portsmouth Christian Academy in Dover, NH, United States of America. Her family got her into running as a child, when she joined them on five kilometre runs. She was also involved in swimming, gymnastics, basketball and competitive jump rope before focusing on Para athletics.

A stress fracture in her tibia disrupted her 2023/24 indoor collegiate season. Despite this setback, she remains dedicated to her sport and continues to train under the guidance of her coach, Nick Polk.
While representing Lipscomb University, she was named on the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) All-Freshman Team for cross country in 2021. In 2022, she earned a spot on the ASUN All-Conference Second Team for cross country. In 2023, she was named on the Track and Field/Cross Country Academic All-America Team.
Her parents have been a significant influence in her life. She believes in overcoming challenges and not letting anyone hold you back from accomplishing your goals. "Everyone has challenges in their life - some may be seen, some may be unseen - but we are all able to work through them," she says.
Looking ahead, she plans to continue her athletic career while completing her education at Lipscomb University. Her dedication to both academics and athletics highlights her commitment to personal growth and excellence.
Outside of athletics, she enjoys swimming, hiking, and spending time with friends. These activities provide a balance to her rigorous training schedule and academic commitments.
