He began his journey in Para athletics in 2019. His friends encouraged him to join Atletski Sportski Klub Split, and although he was initially hesitant, he eventually decided to give it a try. "My friends called me to come to Atletski Sportski Klub Split. I didn't want to at first, but I came anyway and that's it," he said.

In 2014, he won gold in the men's -75kg open category at the World Championships in Moscow, Russian Federation. He also competed in non-Para taekwondo tournaments at the national level in Croatia. His achievements earned him the title of Best Male Para Athlete for 2014 by the Sports Association of Split.
In 2019, he made a significant shift from Para taekwondo to Para athletics. This change marked a new chapter in his sports career. Despite the challenges of transitioning between sports, he remained committed and focused on his new path.
Under the guidance of coach Damjan Sedic, he has been training rigorously at Atletski Sportski Klub Split. The club has provided him with the necessary support and resources to excel in Para athletics.
He believes that failure is an essential part of growth. "I'm not afraid of failure. Failure can only give you additional motivation. You can learn a lot from those mistakes, see what needs to be improved, what not to repeat next time. You learn from mistakes," he shared.
Looking ahead, his primary goal is to compete at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. This ambition drives him to train harder and stay focused on his objectives.
He holds a degree in Economics, which complements his athletic career by providing him with a strong academic foundation.
His contributions to sports have been recognised through various awards. Being named Best Male Para Athlete for 2014 stands out as a significant accolade in his career.
