At age nine, he began his journey in judo in Caxias do Sul, Brazil. Inspired by the 2012 Olympic Games in London, he joined the Recreio da Juventude club. His father, Antonio, had been a member of the same club. In 2021, he transitioned to Para judo.

In 2021, he ventured into Para judo. This marked a new chapter in his athletic career. Under the guidance of coach Giovani Cruz, both at the club and national levels, he honed his skills and prepared for competitive events.
Balancing sports with academics, he pursued a degree in Law at the University of Caxias do Sul. This dual focus showcases his dedication both on and off the mat.
In 2023, he received the National Immigrant Monument Medal from the government of Caxias do Sul. This award highlighted his contributions and achievements in sports. Additionally, he was named a flag bearer for Brazil at the 2023 Youth Parapan American Games in Bogota, Colombia.
Looking ahead, he aims to compete at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. This goal drives his current training and preparation efforts.
His journey from a young enthusiast to a recognised athlete reflects dedication and passion for judo. As he continues to train under coach Giovani Cruz, his sights are set on achieving success at the international level.
