Marek Marucha's athletic career started with Para swimming and Para athletics. He was classified in the F54 category for the 2022 season. He also played wheelchair basketball for KSN START Warszawa. Alongside his sports career, he pursued a degree in management at the University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw.
