She studied Sociology at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in Ukraine and speaks Russian and Ukrainian.

Her ambition is to compete at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. Influenced by her coaches, Yury Gusev and Andriy Isakov, she believes in perseverance. She says, "Believe in yourself and remember that it is impossible to defeat a person who does not give up."
She received the Order of Princess Olga [third and second class] for her performances at the 2016 and 2020 Paralympic Games. Additionally, she holds the title of Master of Sport of International Class in Ukraine.
In 2017, she founded an organisation called Unlimited Possibilities in Ukraine. The organisation aims to unite people with and without impairments through various events. It helps people with impairments integrate into society while breaking down stereotypes.
