Winning gold at the 2022 World Championships in Granada, Spain, stands out as his most memorable achievement. In 2022, he received the Collare d'Oro al Merito Sportivo [Golden Collar of Sporting Merit] in Italy. He also had the honour of being Italy's flag bearer at the closing ceremony of the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
In 2023, he joined the Paralympic Defence Sports Group [GSPD], associated with the Italian Armed Forces. He stated, "This is the biggest recognition of my results.
