German athlete and utilities worker, [Name], has been making strides in Para triathlon since his debut in 2017. Representing LBRS Leipzig, he is coached by Tom Kosmehl. His journey into Para triathlon began in 2016 after a decade in Para swimming, including participation in the 2016 European Championships in Funchal, Portugal.

In 2016, during his first competition as a Para triathlete, he broke a metatarsal bone in his foot after kicking a buoy during the swim leg. Despite this setback, he continued to pursue his passion for triathlon.
At the beginning of 2024, he reduced his work hours from full-time to part-time to focus on training for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. He works as a maintenance coordinator in energy supply for a natural gas company based in Leipzig. "My boss is a triathlete himself and therefore knows what I have to do every day. That helps me enormously and I am very grateful for this support," he mentioned.
Apart from his athletic career, he enjoys growing vegetables, hiking, and spending time outdoors. He speaks both English and German fluently. His hero is German Para triathlete Martin Schulz.
His primary ambition is to win a medal at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. With dedicated training and support from his coach and employer, he aims to achieve this goal.
As September 2024 progresses, [Name] continues to train rigorously, balancing his professional responsibilities with his athletic aspirations. His journey from Para swimming to Para triathlon showcases his resilience and dedication to the sport.
