12 teams for volleyball tourney

Kozhikode, Feb 12 (UNI) Twelve teams including defending champions Karnataka and runners-up Andhra Pradesh would be participating in the 22nd All India Volleyball Tournament beginning here tomorrow.

The three-day event would be conducted on league-cum-knock-out basis, Post Master General Northern Region, Calicut, Hilda Abraham told reporters here today.

The other teams in fray are Gujarat, Uttaranchal, Punjab, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Mahrashtra, Orissa, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, she added.
