13 member AIS squad for India tour announced

Sydney, Aug 9 (UNI) Cricket Australia has announced a 13-member Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) squad for a quadragular tournament to be played in India from August 16 to September 3.

The squad, scheduled to leave for Chennai on August 10, will play preliminary matches against Punjab, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu Cricket Association XI.

Chairman of the National Selection Panel, Andrew Hilditch, selected the squad in consultation with the relevant state personnel.

There have been a few changes to the initial squad with Luke Ronchi, Cullen Bailey and Dan Cullen all included in the Australia A Tour of Pakistan squad. Grant Sullivan has a shin injury, allowing Michael Hill (Victoria), Phillip Hughes (New South Wales), Ryan Harris (South Australia), Chris Simpson (Queensland) and Steve Smith (New South Wales) to come into the side.
